December European tour dates for Redd Kross have now been locked down, no additional dates will be added this time out, so if you want to be sure to see the band live, please plan a trip to the closest show near you. London show has SOLD OUT … so don’t procrastinate!
For those of you looking for a memorable New Year’s Eve, Redd Kross will perform with The Melvins (for the first time ever!) in Los Angeles. This will be a very special event, hosted by Rodney Bingenheimer & we’re planning some surprises.
Redd Kross is also heading back down under in March for the Golden Plains Festival, some shows with Dinosaur Jr. and a side show in Melbourne.
Dates and ticket links below, looking forward to seeing you in the front row!
Dinosaur Jr, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, The Mark Of Cain, Redd Kross, Psarandonis and Cat Power are Feel Presents contributions to one helluva line-up for 2013’s Golden Plains Festival held on a farm outside Melbourne. An event that also features the mighty George Clinton and P-Funk – wow!First round ticket winners have already been notified with the second round now open at http://goldenplains.com.au/. Sounds like a road trip to us!
Of course, Redd Kross were totally amazing at Amoeba last night. What you might not have expected is that they’d play for about an hour! The set was heavy on the supremely catchy and totally ripping new songs (“Downtown,” “Uglier”) which will grow on you like fungus, but dug back to the very oldest and rawest cuts (“Linda Blair,” “St. Lita Ford Blues”) for the old timers who saw the McDonald brothers when they were teenagers. Me? I’m in the middle somewhere, having discovered them on the Neurotica (“Frosted Flake”) tour when they played a free lunchtime show at UCLA.
